The Recreation Departments offers Adult Sanctioned Softball through the Spring & Summer, Day Camp for student's grade 1-6, Learn to Ice Skate - beginners, intermediate, youth, and adult, Mom & Me programs and more year round activities. Seasonal Ice Skating and Swimming open to the Public.
At Riverside Pool, the addition of a "Splash Pad" and youth slides to Riverside Pool has added a new dimension to the ever-popular summer activity. In 2006 the pool is offered a variety of activities at the pool, water activities or games, and contests on the deck of the pool including "Wild Wednesday's" and "Freaky Friday's" throughout the season. In 2007 the pool will be offering "Teen" after hour Swim Parties on Thursday evenings beginning 8:30pm - 11:00pm, DJ Entertainment. An annual Beach Party is scheduled for the last weekend in August (weather permitting).
New and exciting opportunities are being explored to expand recreational activities to the Community, in parks, on fields, in water, or on ice, competitive or non-competitive, individual or team activities, the options are endless. RENTAL FACILITIES: If you are in need of a Shelter House, Meeting Space, After Hour Swim Party, Birthday Party, After School Activities; including Ice Skating parties.
